The Orient Line
2/21/2011

'The Orient Line' heritage trail is a circular walk of about eight miles which traces the origins of Leyton Orient Football Club.

Produced by O's Supporters Club deputy chairman Steve Jenkins, with the help of rambling and walking expert Len Banister), the walk starts at the Supporters Club, and then heads through the streets of Leyton, across Hackney Marshes - passing the Olympic Park in the process - into Hackney and Clapton and right back to the roots of our great club, before returning to Leyton where the walk finishes at Coronation Gardens.

The inaugural walk is taking place on Sunday 17th April, meeting at the Supporters Club at 9.30am onwards for a 10am departure. Steve will be giving a historical commentary during the walk, and whilst there will be a liquid refreshment stop en route, it is recommended that walkers bring their own packed lunch.

Further details on this and other Supporters Club activities can be found at their website
