Lingy's Legends Assemble!
5/15/2017

This coming Saturday 20 May, former Orient player (and promotion-winning manager) Martin Ling will assemble over 20 ex-Orient legends to take on the fans at: Redbridge FC, Oakside Stadium, Barkingside, IG6 1NB.

The confirmed list of ex-Os coming to this Regeneration Fund event has been finalised (subject to any last-minute withdrawals), and even after a few players had to drop out for scheduling reasons, with so many coming we had to schedule a third 'half' of 45 minutes to accommodate them all!

Due to turn out for Lingy's Legends, in no particular order, are:
Paul Hyde, Justin Miller, John Mackie, Matt Lockwood, Shane Tudor, Michael Simpson, Joe Keith, Efe Echanomi, Donny Barnard, Daryl McMahon, Aidan Palmer, Brian Saah, Kevin Stephens, Jason Demetriou, Ian Hendon, Alan Comfort, David Mooney, Carl Griffiths, Paul Heald, Nicky Shorey and Kevin Lisbie and hopefully a few more subject to their availability!

They will be managed by Martin Ling, with Peter Kitchen as his assistant manager for the day. Steve Castle will be managing the Supporters teams.

Gates open at 1pm for kick off at 2pm, entry costs 5 for adults and 1 for under-16s/Senior Citizens. The Oakside Stadium is next to Barkingside tube station, street parking is available nearby as well as at the tube station itself. There is limited parking on-site at the stadium which is mainly required for volunteers, but to enquire about this please email us at lofanstrust@gmail.com

Apart from the matches themselves, there will also be a raffle and an auction post-match. There will be food on sale and the bar will be open!

We are looking forward to this being a great day and a celebration of all that is good about Leyton Orient see you at Redbridge FC this coming Saturday 20 May!
