Unfortunately for Doug, Leigertwood played exactly 10 games for Orient before returning to Wimbledon; therefore he was not even present at the Cheltenham match (on the 19th January) to watch the most public face of LOFT make a complete idiot of himself. However, Doug was determined that his embarrassment wouldn't be in vain, and announced that he would be inviting people to pledge money to the Little Haven Children's Hospice in Essex. The response was tremendous, and in just under a week he managed to raise £376. Doug would like to thank everyone who pledged money and supported him on the day.
