Leyton Orient chairman Barry Hearn invited LOFT chair Doug Harper and others of LOFT's committee to a meeting with him and Chief Executive Matt Porter yesterday, to discuss Hearn's reasoning behind the sale of Orient's Brisbane Road stadium to his own Matchroom company.
The committee will feed back to members at a meeting to be held next week what Hearn has told us. This will also be an opportunity for LOFT to feed back any developments from our contacts with other parties, and to discuss and inform what LOFT's strategy should be from now on regarding the future of Leyton Orient.
The meeting has been set for Thursday 19th February, at the Birkbeck Tavern, Langthorne Road in Leytonstone, and will start at 7:45pm. The meeting will be open to LOFT members only, but any O's supporter can join in advance or on the door.
