  Football League set to reject FA’s B league proposals

Football League clubs are expected to reject Greg Dyke’s controversial B league proposals at their summer meeting in Portugal on Thursday.

Dyke, the FA chairman, has proposed a new division be created between the Conference and League Two which would include a number of Premier League clubs’ B teams. The plan emerged from his England commission, which aims to increase the number of English players in the top flight, and Dyke says it would give young players more experience of competitive football.

  UEFA's latest reports on social responsibility
 
UEFA has issued two social responsibility reports that highlight its work at UEFA EURO 2012 and during season 2012/13, showing its commitment to addressing social issues.

The report considers all the social responsibility work carried out by UEFA in 2012/13 – ranging from offering under-privileged children the experience of a lifetime at the UEFA Europa League final, to the fruitful dialogue with supporters’ groups – the lifeblood of the game; and the work on nurturing inclusion in football – a game which must be open to everyone regardless of race, age, gender, religion or disability; the support given to the Cross Cultures’ Open Fun Football Schools that united people torn apart in areas of conflict.
