The board of LOFT plans to make a sizeable donation to the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation, recently set up by the Edinburgh family to spread information about heart and cardiac issues, as well as practical work such as improving facilities. In particular, they will also be campaigning to change the law to ensure all health and fitness clubs across the UK are equipped with defibrillators.
This will be in addition to the planned spends on football community projects discussed at our last AGM.
How much we can donate depends entirely on the level of both membership renewals from existing members, and how many other Leyton Orient fans join or rejoin the Trust.
Membership fees remain at a minimum of £1, but with the option to pay what you can afford. Our ongoing costs are fairly small and covered by those members who very kindly pay by standing order or recurring PayPal payment, so all other membership fees received go to our general funds and are available to support the football community.
Details of how to join LOFT, including an easy online membership payment by PayPal, are on our website.
