AGM report - November 2019
11/22/2019

LOFT held its Annual General Meeting last night, Thursday 21 November 2019. Our thanks to those members who braved the cold weather to make the trip, plus those who watched on the Facebook Live stream.

We were joined by club legends Peter Kitchen and Adrian Whitbread, who took part in our Evening With Legends Q&A session following the formal AGM business. Steve Castle was sadly not able to also join us, due to unforeseen circumstances, however we were delighted to welcome club Principal Investor Kent Teague as our guest as well.

We were also happy to have Charlie Edinburgh at the meeting, who came along to receive a donation from us for £2,000 to the Justin Edinburgh 3 Foundation. This donation was possible thanks to the generosity of members when joining/renewing this season, for which we are extremely grateful.

Members can revisit the live stream of the meeting on the Facebook page we set up for the AGM - email us for details - and anyone can view our live tweets of the evening.

The meeting began with the Chair's Report (PDF, 91KB) for the past year, read out by vice-chair Tom Davies who was chairing the meeting in Doug Harper's absence. Following this, Peter Osborne presented his Treasurer's Report and accounts to May 2019 (PDF, 141KB).

As promised a year ago, we brought back the motion re-asserting that the Regeneration Fund monies remain as an emergency fund - this motion was carried unanimously.

Anna Fleming and Mat Roper were re-elected to the board by unanimous vote.

We're very grateful to our friends at the Supporters Club for hosting our AGM, and to Peter and Adrian for coming along to engage with a range of questions.
