As part of Kick It Out week, LOFT was delighted to be co-sponsors (with Kick It Out) of the History of Black Footballers' Exhibition held recently at Barking College. LOFT also sponsored a five-a-side football competition.
Leyton Orient stars Aaron McClean, Simon Downer and Matthew Joseph came down to open the exhibition and speak to students about the life and demands of being professional footballers.
Hundreds of students were present, and different questions were asked of
the players, not all of them football-related!
Many thanks to the players for attending and the Club for their co-operation, which helped make the day a great success.
